We've been enjoying the sweet nectar of the fruits of my labor this week, and a bottle of syrup is a centerpiece at the breakfast table. The cold temperatures have put a stop to the sap flow for now, which gives me more time to recover. Looks like I'll have the weekend off from sugarin'.
A few days of warmth next week is all I'll need to be back in business and hoping to do it all again on Saturday, March 2nd.
